i own a 98 Mystique Ls V6 automatic. It has no problems. I just bought a 95 Mystique Gs V6 automatic. The tranny in this car slips a little bit. From a standstill you hear the engine rev a bit, then the tranny grabs. My question is... can i take the tranny from my 98 and put it in the 95? are they a match? reason i ask is that id like to use the 95 as a beater since my 98 is now a full blown show car. i figured if the tranny gives out in the 95, i can pull the one out of my 98, put it in the 95, and send the 95 tranny to get rebuilt at levelten performance, then stick that one in the 98. fyi... i need to stay with automatic because im paralyzed and need to use hand controls, thats why i dont have mtx. anyone know if these 2 years match up to eachother? mounting and all? thanx! laugh
