The SVT does NOT have an air silencer. It has a fender draw boot that allows for the airbox to pull in only cooler fender air vs hot underhood air though. This would actually improve performance & quell heatsoak!
Yes the stock SVT airbox is restrictive. Just look at the tiny whole it's forced to suck through.
