What's wrong with that? I'm still yet to get an answer to this question.

Although that's the way politics work almost all the time, it's not exactly right. Following the constitution, laws, and what is better for everyone is what SHOULD be done. This is a reason I don't particularly care for most politicians.

Nice job Kremi!

This may turn out to be more than right to die/right to live/states rights if what might be the real truth ever comes out in the courts. Check this
and then this
It sounds like it could be an attempted murder by Michael gone wrong for 15 years. Question: Why would he turn down the money he was offered to walk away from it all if he has a new girl and a couple of children and if he is of clean conscience ? He may not be. So please stop arguing the political points of what is going on for just a moment and objectively listen to the audio links here on this post.

What church is dictating state policy? I need specific names of churches, not 'fanatical religious right-wingers'.

You won't be able to name any churches, because no churches are dictating policy. Go read the part of the Constitution that you infer 'separation of church and state' from before you continue to participate in this thread.

STATE DOES NOT DICTATE CHURCH TEACHING!!

My pastor can't tell me who he thinks I ought to vote for.

My pastor can't say what he wants from the pulpit because of tax exempt status...

Hmmmm...ponder that one...

Might not happen in your church, but certainly does happen in many of the more radical ones. Of course the minister can't force anyone to do anything, but his opinions are basically gospel to parishoners of these churches.

Packrat, since you couldn't figure my point: ever hear that story about the boy who cried wolf?

You frequently post garbage. What's that supposed to reflect? Since you seem to want to not be taken seriously, agreeing with you hardly helps anyone's argument.

Oh yeah, that's right I forgot. John Kerry and other dems can use the church as their playground, but just let anybody else, and SLAM with a lawsuit from the ACLU...

No idea what you're talking about. Not that it's relevant to this thread, but when did Kerry use churches for his purposes?
