Apparently you missed the point altogether.
This "nurse" has already proven to be a liar by repeatedly changing stories and sources and claiming things that disagree entirely with all court testimony provided by both Terri Schiavo's own doctors and nurses and those provided by the Courts.
It wouldn't matter if her story was engraved on stone tablets -- she's a liar. She didn't come out all the other times her feeding tube was or threatened to be removed. She only showed up now because the story has suddenly gotten national attention.
Here's something to think about:
Don't you think if her story had any shred of credibility that the lawyer for the parents would have her showing up at every possible opportunity to give her story to the judge?

What's wrong with that? I'm still yet to get an answer to this question.
Although that's the way politics work almost all the time, it's not exactly right. Following the constitution, laws, and what is better for everyone is what SHOULD be done. This is a reason I don't particularly care for most politicians.

19 different judges - that's 19 out of 19 including a federal judge yesterday, have all agreed that the feeding tube was lawfully removed. Is there any evidence that Ms. Iyer has ever testified before at any phase of this case? If so, it must be that her story does not hold a lot of water.
There is nothing illegal about Fox News openly pandering to the religious right. As far as our elected officials, however, that's a clear violation of the separation of church and state and therefore prohibited under our constitution.
And I'm not going to get involved in another inane argument about whether the Constitution mandates a separation of church and state. Federal caselaw, including several US Supreme decisions have already decided that issue for us.

LOL This is the funniest thing I've read in a while. You have absolutely no idea what the 'separation of church and state' is if you think this impedes upon it. I'd normally throw out the rolleyes smilie under these circumstances but I can't stop laughing at you, so:

Patrick Buchanan, (remember him?) would disagree with you.
"Separation of church and state means churches do not dictate state policy and the state does not dictate church teaching..." Patrick J. Buchanan served in the Nixon, Ford and Reagan administrations. (as quoted in the Washington Times).

99SESport, when you agree with Packrat, you're forfeiting credibility. Did you see that poem he put on his Baretta/Robert Blake posting? You'd rub shoulders with such genius?
Meanwhile, before this new move by Congress, the US Supreme Court already bowed out of this fuss. TWICE. As this matter has already been FULLY litigated in the Florida courts, with NO federal question jurisdiction being found by the federal Supremes, that screams "unconstitutional" at Congress.
Anyone care to define "res judicata" and "stare decisis" for the board? How about you, Packrat? You certainly have a silver tongue.
Meanwhile, kudos to Gov. Jeb for NOT looking to support/uphold the Florida constitution. Isn't that part of what he was SWORN into office to do?

Whats that got to do with anything? And it's not MY poem, that's been circulating around for a good 20 years or so.
