These are not just random quotes. Randall Terry is a well-known certifiable right-wing religious wacko.
If you do some google searches, you will see that Christian groups and Christian organizations are all over this.
According to Newsmax:
"[t]he (Miami Herald) said the congressional effort to save Schiavo was a "testament to the influence of the governor and religious conservatives..."

Because that is the pathetic path this story has followed. Congress overstepped their bounds. They got to play judge for a day.

Hey, did anybody hear that huge explosion? Yeah, that was our 10th Amendment being nuked. I'm waiting to see who hires John Nowak as either an adviser or commentator, as a 10th amendment guru.

Well judges have played lawmakers for a couple hundred years, so I guess it evens out a little.

Well 96RedSE5Sp, I can see you are back to your old self again (anti-Christian, anti-conservative). Thats ok. The sad part is you have to use newsmax to prove your point!

And the more religion involves or is linked with government we're going to have problems. Give it up already, governments will not change the world, stop replying on them. I don't know the facts as to whether she should be alive or not, but it disheartening when "for you own good" laws are hurriedly made up to the seeming opposition of many.

You consider statements like those to be typical of what any typical person might say? No extremism at all is evident to you?
