Gimme a break. Your ignorance on this case is astounding.

His "Wife" died 15 years ago. She is gone, the only thing left is a body with a brain that through some freak incident managed to retain enough usefulness to sustain her life, but nothing else. One could easily argue that her soul has long gone, and only her visceral shell is left.

He stood by her side for years while maintaining she wanted to die before every "moving on" with his life. I'd like to see you stand by the side of your essentially brain-dead wife for 5 years before ever thinking about moving on and for 10 more years fight for her wishes. Yes, he does have another woman in his life, but he still visits his real "wife" often; unwilling to divorce her because it would mean her parents would leave her in the state that she (supposedly) requested to never be in. Her own father has gone so far as to say, in court testimony, that he would have her arms and legs cut off and put her on a ventilator just to keep her in the state she is in now.

Con man? What do you think he's in it for? Money?

He's been offered numerous offers for significant sums of money, as much as $10 million dollars, to divorce his wife and walk away and stop his legal preceedings, but has refused. Probably didn't know that did you?

Don't you think if it was about money he would have taken the offer (WAY WAY WAY more money than he'd get from her just dying), divorced his wife, and went on living with the woman he's been living with for years? If he's a con man, he's a bad one.

He certainly isn't in it for the press, fame, or attention. He rejects almost all offers for TV appearances or even statements of any kind. In 15 years he's only spoken to the press a handful of times. So you can't argue he's in it for that.

So if it's not the money and it's not the attention, what exactly is he "conning" people out of?

I can only hope that someone would fight for 10 years, and turn down offers for millions of dollars in order to fulfill my final wishes.
