Use your mind and your God given Wisdom if you have it. There is evil in her "husband's" thinking and it is all about greed. There was never any attempt in his plans to try to rehab Terri. He had her shut off from the outside world, no open window, no TV.
Please, I've lived next to this BS for years. If you tell somebody you would not like to live in a certain condition than that wish should be carried out. The fact that the husband gave it five or six years before saying it's at that point pretty much negates any greed motives. Read ALL you can about it, and you will find most or all of the money will be gone to cover her care over the last 12 or 13 years. As for the idiot hunger strikers that have said "If Terry can't eat than neither will we" they need to go home and have a bowl of cereal. This stupidity has gone on long enough that now congress is getting involved. Sad day indeed.

What the CRAP is wrong with you people? If any of you had been following the case since this became a big deal, you would understand that there is nothing that is "artifically" keeping her alive.
That is, unless you consider yourself "artificially" alive every time you open the refridgerator.
That's right, Terry Shciavo is not being kept alive by a respirator, or heart pumper, or anything but her own blood pumping, oxygen breathing body. She needs food. Now that the food pipe has been pulled, it will take nearly two weeks for her to starve to death, while she experiences pain you and I will never experience (that is unless they pull the plug to our supermarket.) So, let me explain the way that she will die. Her mouth and skin with dry out, her nose will bleed, her stomach will vomit as the irritated lining dries out, and she will experience unbelievable pain. A radio host, Gregg Knapp, had a another person who was determined to be in a "persistent vegetative state" on his radio show today who was starved for eight days while in that "persistent vegetative state." She explained that she could hear everything, understood it, just couldn't respond. She explained the pain as unbelievable. Oh, if you didn't realize it, she's out of it now....
Her husband on the other hand, has been in a live in relationship with another woman for a very long time, kids and all. He doesn't care enough to be there with her the day he sentenced her to death. His lawyer says the government is Stalinistic in the way they are trying to keep Terry alive. There's absolutely no proof that she wanted to die. This woman has not been given the proper medical care because of her "caring" husband.
Ignoring all above, letting her starve to death at this point is pure barbarism. It is horrendous to even think there are people in this world that feel she is expendable. She is alive and a human being, not an animal ready to be put to sleep.
