I think in this situation, given some of the circumstances, in should be left up to the parents. The main reason why i say this is because not to long after she was in a coma, the husband started to not show up to the hospital and when he did show up he wouldn't touch her and would be ice cold towards her, this according to her parents and medical staff. Now i can understand about being that way intially, but to be like this for the past 10 years in ridiculas. But that is just my opinion, so if you are going to flame make sure you do it softly.
