Much of what I see here listed are merely regular maintenance items ie: tires, plugs/wires, struts, etc...
Outside of these items, this car has cost me a whopping zilch, nada, $0. Granted, misc. stuff has gone out such as the moonroof motor, power antenna, foglights, etc... But, the thread asked how much to keep the car running and obviously, these items aren't essential to the vehicle in moving from A to B.
I've yet to be stranded or have this car break down...and the day it starts doing it to me is the day I trade it in
I don't have the time to deal w/ an unreliable car....
