No, the plugs are on top, just a little difficult to reach. You have to remove the coil pack and the front plastic cover to get at em. You'll need a fairly long extention to get to the plugs. The Haynes manual I have does a fairly good job at explaining the procedure...I would pick up one of those before I did anything if I were you. Good luck!
