I recall that somewhere around here there is a how-to on making an oil separator for the PCV, but I can't seem to find it, can someone point me to it?

tried search, "oil separator" or "oil seperator" pulled up nothing about how to make one, and I couldn't think of anything else to call it.

*side thought*....

I never would have guessed that a question about MODIFING the pcv system and making a new part was a Maintenance related question and not a GENERAL MOD question. On the other hand I now understand why posts are ever where they "should" be.

you know what's sad? is that some time ago I created a thread here which included all possible key words and links to few pages w/ different separator designs... and Brian posted the same link as above in that thread too. and that thread comes up in a search for both "oil separator" and "PCV"...

...and you still could not find one. here

Thanks for providing the link to the thread, I knew I had read it before, but like I said I just couldn't find it.

Here we clearly see that the post you linked me to is in Duratec Maintenance

Here is my Search Screen

And the results

like I said I searched, but came up with nothing. I don't know why, with all the mention of separators, I expected a big list to look through, but as you can see something in the search is not working for me.

I can tell you your problem right away.

You used "Entire Phrase" instead of "And" in you search instructions.

Always use "And" never use "Entire Phrase"
