The work would get done. In the short run, it would probably raise labor costs to provide the goods and services currently provided by illegal immigrants. However, in the longer run, these industries would become more mechanized, creating good jobs for people designing, building, operating, and taking care of the machines automating the process done by a migrant farm worker.

My garbage was just picked up today... neither of the two men were illegal immigrants, and they make a living wage. Many agricultural areas manage to bring their goods to market without illegal immigrants picking them (some use students or other seasonal part time help, others are already more mechanized and automated.)

The social contract is broken. The responsible people of this nation have been stretched beyond the limit trying to pay for all the services people want to provide to the poor. And it's never enough, they always want more. Well, I say we've gone far enough, and the bill is as high as what the people can pay. You'll just have to do more for yourself, because we can't afford to do it for you anymore.
