I agree that the vast majority of illegals work their arses off for wages no American would touch. But at the same time we can't just open our borders for reasons such as the one posted up top.
Now I'm not one to advocate a half-arsed solution to this issue. So I'm coming around on the temporary work visa idea.
And I disgree that the jobs they do would disappear if immigration was reduced. Businesses would raise wages and therefore prices, which would of course have an effect on the overall economy. But there would always be people to do the work.
