I have my certification as an electronics technician so I can do anything the dealership can.
So then you know Wal-Mart is not the place to go for those products.

Usually I shop at eBay or Wal-Mart. Where would you purchase the items from?

Went there once for an airbag sensor problem. Got it fixed, never went back.

12 times in 1 year because when the dealer tried to fix a rattle, they screwed up a ground wire. When they fixed that, they screwed up another one. They did the same thing 5 more times. Finally got the electrical system squared away. Then the stereo started having problems, went in twice for that. They couldn't fix that either. Then, after I fixed that, I had a steering problem that I took it to them twice for, they couldn't fix it. I had to take the car to a suspension shop. Then I had a problem with the seat being crooked, and they did fix that the first time.
Luckily because of their poor service, they repaired the car for free every time.
However, it really sucks living in small town USA with a really bad dealer, and not really having the option to take the car to the next dealer because it's 40 miles away. I learned my lesson, I won't ever go back to them for work. Independant shops do a lot better. (here anyways)

my current car will never see the stealership. my last csvt was there only once for a cel diagnostic because here in cali autozone isn't allowed to do it. now i have the tool to do it myself. the chrysler cirrus i had before that had a real nice extended warrenty so it saw the dealer many times. in one year, i was there maybe six or seven times. twice to replace the ac and atleast four times to figure out the noise i was hearing(which they denied existed) was the idler pulley bearing. there may have been a couple more times but i can't remember.
