Will be going there tomorrow to have them repair a bump and loose steering feel (Sears noted stabilizer link loose and worn, probably the problem) ... am I stupid? Kinda ... but with no time to spend working on the thing myself, little ideas on what is actually wrong, and no way to fix it myself (I know next to nothing mechanically about autos ), I have a choice of either dealer or local garage.

I think Ryan ("SVT") would have beat your "most times to a Ford dealer" with his old T-red E0, they screwed up the paint job and he had to take it back many times over (10+?) to get it done properly.

Once, to get touchup paint. Numerous phone calls though.

Been there once, laughed at their part prices and walked out.

i have been there about 7 times in the past 2 months. i had the under hood wirewing recall done and they must of bumped my left headlight + they did not screw down the coolent resirvor. i went back the first time they adugested my lights and fixed my tank. went back and it still wassent right. went back again same thing my left headlights still shines on a sharp angle to the left. went back another time and they managed to get the headlights proper. but a coupple days later i noticed my driving/high beams were all messed up. went back again and now my lights are both shinging to the left and yet the driving lights are good. i am realy getting ticked off. i am going back on friday and demanding that a diffrent person fix it. if not then i want to take it to a privet shop have them do it and get ford to pay for it.

DITTO THAT....5 bucks for a freaking headlight screw??

Ford needs to learn.......

The first and only time i took my SVT to the ford dealership was for a new alternator and battery, mistake. It took them about a week to get it done. When i got their to pick it up, some lady was sent off to get it and while the paper work was being covered under warranty. She comes back like 20 minutes and said the car wasn't starting. Not turning over at all. I walk out there where my car was and it was parked in between two f150's with about 3 inches on each side for clearence. After i watched her try to start it, i demanded my keys, got in... since the wheel was locked turned it a little bit and started it up. I mean comon people. later that day when i got home i discovered a nice patch of paint missing from the bottom of a side skirt. BASTARDS!!!!!!!!

I was there about 20 times in one year. That was the year I purchased a new car. The alarm would go off every time it rained. I took my car in and walked to the mall while they were installing a protective finish to the paint. When I returned I could see my car in the parking lot. The driver had the engine past red line and smoke was boiling off of the tires. I will never buy another new car but if I do I won't pay for any extras. I will go to Wal-Mart and get an alarm, floor mats, and stereo and I will install them myself. Once the dealership gets your money that is all they want and service after the sale is usually not to good.

I have my certification as an electronics technician so I can do anything the dealership can.
