ok this weekend I placed my battery in the trunk.. what fun that was ... then where the battery used to sit. I put a marine battery box.. cut it to fit when the hood closed it seals it.. put a 90 degree aluminum elbow to get the filter to sit inside the box.. cut a 3" hose at the bottom and ran that to the front of the car... WOOHOOOO driving hard in hot hot weather and you open the hood.. engines hot air box is about 20 degrees cooler.. adn engine temp stays under r at a constant now
