well if you're hearing a metallic grinding noise when starting, then almost indefinitely it is a starter/flywheel issue. Just let the other guys going to warren hear it, it's pretty easy to tell. It's an awful sound, sorta like Pete's mating call w/16 yrs old girls  (she was hot though, I'll give you that).
