Thanks Demon, I was waiting for you or Terry to chime in. You broke it down potatoe head style for me thanks, that makes sense....
And WTF CSVT isn't a drag car? Since when?? Well can I pretend? :-D

m'kay, that makes no sense at all...
Lighter = faster revving, faster acceleration, faster shifting... Nothing I would want when driving or especially autocrossing...
Also about the powerband crack. STAY IN IT! It pretty easily if one knows how to drive.
BTW - The SVT's powerband is longer than the normal Duratec as well.
Give me the lighter flywheel anyday. Once you are going ~5mph the lighter flywheel beats a heavier one easily just using physics alone.
However another thing to think about. From a dead stop it is easy to smoke the tires at 2500rpm when starting. Raising that to 3000 or 3500 rpm with a lighter flywheel should actually improve your times because it's already higher up in the rpm band. Also take into account the significantly lighter rotating weight and it will accelerate faster yet...
THIS IS NOT A DRAG CAR! by the way...[/b]
