Get it shipped to the UPS Store in Niagara Falls (Military Rd) and then go for a visit crossing at the Queenston/Lewiston bridge. It's only about an hour drive from Brampton and is only 5 minutes into the US. Claim it if you want for the GST, but the rest s/b nil.
