High 12s on slicks. Um ok..  so you are saying if your contour was RWD, you could hang with a 333 hp RWD M3 in the quarter? Cus my dog can pull low 13s in one of those, stock ....high 12s with a good driver and some sticky tires. My bros old 600 hp camaro ss ran 12s "all day" so, no it would still be hard for you to run 12s.
It's not that FWD sucks. A RWD 1200 hp viper will have a hard time at times because of too much power for traction. FWd Pro street cars run high 9s low 10 all the time. It;s the contour platform, the way the car is engineered, weight distribution, position of the diff etc that affects the traction and makes fwd annoying for our cars.

He can hang close to an M3 right now. IIRC M3 advertised 1/4 time is 13.3.
