The camaro tranny was as far that way as I wanted to go. I wanted to keep the nissan motor in the car. To me, there is no better sound than a straight 3L with a set of tripple webbers. If you built it right, it will give the same power as a small block chevy, and it will be more reliable, and sound a lot better. And trust me, anymore than 300 hp at the wheels in this car and you are going through a set of tires each month.
There are a couple of guys with 350s in the z club and they end up bending the frame with all the torque. It creates stress lines in th paint etc.
i was mostly just joking, ive only seen a couple z's with a 350 in them, there are obviously more popular and better paved routes to go
