The turbo guys would be low 12's easily.
It can be summed up in two words...
FWD SUCKS!!!
Honda guys make it happen. Why can't we?

2650lbs w/ driver, though, that's L-I-G-H-T for a 300hp car.
8.33 lb/hp, still not as good as some people here.

I normally don't respond to your posts, but seeing as how you jump all over others including mine with 1/2 wit remarks all the time, for no reason...
High 12s on slicks. Um ok..
Want to put your foot in your mouth now, or would you like me to drive up to Canada and help you with that? If you had been paying ANY attention since you joined the boards 5 months ago, you would know that he's already hit a 13.4 with drag radials on his FWD Contour!! Take that same power to weight ratio in that same Contour with a RWD platform AND slicks, and he could "probably"(as he said) run 12's..
Now, that hole you were digging yourself.... It just got a lot deeper

I'm not the one making threats on someone I've never met. That my friend is digging a hole in my opinion. I honestly don't think you could figure out how to get up here on your own. Maybe Demon would have to drive you? Grow up buddy.
I'm not the only one on this board who can smell bullsh!t. We've seen the times that a Z06, turbod CSVt and others have put down in the quarter. And slapping on slicks doesn't take a second off your 1/4 time. For all the time and money Demon has put into his car, he still has no dyno numbers. Seems strange to me. No disrespect, becaues he I am sure is much more knowledgeable on these cars than I am, but that is one of the first things I did once the motor was dropped back into my summer car. Until I see any of those numbers, or an official time slip, I am saying it is a little hard to believe that his car, weighing in at more than 800 lbs more than my z, with much less power to the wheels AND traction issues can make very similar times in the 1/4. And he isn't the only one who can drive a car. I've been doing it for 20 years.

No threat intended.. You're doing a nice job of fitting your foot in your mouth without my help.. My point was that you joined here 5 months ago and are spouting off about someone's car that you obviously know nothing about.. Greg did post his timeslip, has posted dyno graphs of his old 2.5L setup, which was putting out roughly what my 3L is right now! I personally ran a 14.4 with my little 195fwhp and street tires.. Throw in some drag radials, 40+ more HP, a good tune and some weight reduction, and I can definitely see taking off another second from my time.. Nobody ever said anything about dropping a full second from slicks Going from a 13.4 down to "low 13's and maybe 12's" w/ slicks & RWD, as Demon said it, is NOT a full second.. You may have been driving/racing for 20 years, now take the next 20 minutes and brush up on your reading skills..

when greg had his 2.5 he smoked me and 8 other mod'd SVT's (mine being the least mod'd) by over 4 seconds. He was in STS and running ESP times. Crazy!

Not necessarily. It's all personal taste. The guy who I consulted with in building my car has been building and racing z cars since they first came off the boat, and he never put a 350 in one. The camaro tranny was as far that way as I wanted to go. I wanted to keep the nissan motor in the car. To me, there is no better sound than a straight 3L with a set of tripple webbers. If you built it right, it will give the same power as a small block chevy, and it will be more reliable, and sound a lot better. And trust me, anymore than 300 hp at the wheels in this car and you are going through a set of tires each month.
There are a couple of guys with 350s in the z club and they end up bending the frame with all the torque. It creates stress lines in th paint etc.

i was mostly just joking, ive only seen a couple z's with a 350 in them, there are obviously more popular and better paved routes to go
