Anyone have a good source, online or somewhere, for K & N air filters? I would need a Round tapered Universal style. Any ideas? Thanks!

Do these make that much af a difference? I was thinking about getting one and this looks like the place to do it. Any estimates as to how much more power and did anybody feel it pull harder after installing? Thanks

You won't notice sqaut... I think it gives you about a +1 or 2 hp gain... iirc

I noticed a gain only in the far reaches of the rpm range. It does make the Duratec sound better especially when the secondaries open up.

I don't have a K & N on yet, but do have a Conical high flow air filter (that I am about to replace with a Round Tapered K & N). I didn't notice a huge gain, but in the higher RPM ranges, it does feel a little more peppy, and definitely has an aggressive "roar" sound, again at higher RPM's.
I know that it is letting in more airflow, as the computer had to readjust to the new intake. But as for many people's claims of huge 20 hp gains from an intake, I don't think that is realistic.

Rawburt is right.
AJ USA has the best prices on the Internet for Filters and Accessories.
His prices can't be matched by most of the local stores in my neighborhood.

As for gains, if all you do is an intake or filter upgrade you won't liekly see much as far as gains go. But if you combine that with some exhaust mods, you will see more gains. If you allow it to inhale better, it must exhale better to make any improvement.
