i had a mazda truck i used to love dragging on the ground all over the place. well, in the beginning, before we relocated the gas tank to the bed, it hund a bit too low and would sometimes hit stuff. eventually, it got a nice little hole in it. i used the old bar soap trick to seal it in and it never leaked again

this just reminded me of another one, dont know if it counts as a ghetto fix.
my friend had a nardi steering wheel on his truck. someone broke in and stole it. he drove home using a pair of vice grips as his steering wheel.
