I have the 2.5" Brullen Cat back system and want to find a good y-pipe. Any with a removable Cat like Performance Fords, i'm indifferent to that setup (mostly because it seems unpopular).

One more question, the only headers available for the tour are the MSDS ones, correct?

i have the SHO with the fixed CAT, works really well - the removable version i guess would be nice - but what a pain in the arse to remove it!

also SHM makes headers for the SVT, but they're big bucks!!!

I have the same 2.5' Brullen cat-backsystem as you, and I put a sho-shop Y-pipe w/ no cat on. I like it except for the rasp. When warmed up it sounds good, LOUD. Now I want to do the Mystery Mod, and then put on a High Flow resonator to kill the rasp. Wonder how it would sound. Any way Ive heard some bad stuff on Peformance Fords Y-pipe here on the forums, I'd get the sho-shop and then before you put it on have it Jet Coated to prevent heating up of your oil pan. This is my only concern with this y-pipe.

I had Brullen put their resonator on mine. Brullen's systems look awesome and the resonator does too! I just loved the etched aluminum plates they put on all their stuff!
