Long as this thread has all you Engineers attention, I've got a quick question. I'm gonna be going to Colorado State University for an Engineering degree. Is this a pretty reputable school for Engineering? I know it is one of the best in CO, but don't know how it fares nationally. Also, I want to get into Aerospace after graduation, but they don't have that engineering department. As I see it, I can take one of two options.
The first is a BS in Mechanical Engineering
The second is a BS in Engineering Science with a concentration on Space Engineering.
Which of these would be a better major for someone looking to get into Aerospace? I figure the Mechanical is a bit more broad, but maybe I won't get the job I want. And obviously, my ideal job would be to work for an astronautics company, or even for the government.
Thanks for the advice fellas!
