Was pissed off on Saturday night and yanked up the EB a little too hard when I parked. Heard a snap crackle pop, and yes indeed, it blew. I took the center console apart on Sunday morning, and it looks like the small end-stop of the cable popped off. Looks like a soldered-on piece and there would not be any way to repair it other than ordering and installing a new cable.
Anyone got any alternate ideas such as maybe a threaded-type end stop or similiar? Do they make such a thing? Please! I cannot live without my EB!
