Tweeters in a-pillars screws up staging.. should be within 6 inches of component, or else you get to much seperation... what do I know though.. I am a noob

yes they are exactly the same as standard.
i have heard A-pillar tweeter setups in mondeo's and they sound fine, gives more surround sound than having them right near the component woofer.
