I love Techno but I know nothing about it or know any of the names of the songs I've heard before so I never know what to search for.

Can someone list some good songs?

Aye, but credit should be given where credit is due... John Williams, anyone? I love *MOST* of his scores, but he only contributes about 30% of the work...

Ice = posh crap, but dont let anyone in GK I said that. Actually GK bought out ICE after it was established as a posh hole, so why change what was already making em tons of $$

ICE was just bought because it was a good marketing gimmick to get Godskitchen a US name since they were comming over from Europe. They actually orig partnered with Spundae (the original comp I worked for)and that partnership because hostile and in 2005 GK took over 1/2 of spundae's stakes, like Chitown. With them getting 1/2 of spundae it was a good movew to buy the club and get publicity. I wouldnt be surprised if in 1 year they sell that elitest hole.

If anyone is here in Chitown PM a lil in advanced and Ill put you on my list for that weekend.

We are at a place called Vision here in Chitown and honestly I goto work in Jeans, a Tee, maybe a pair of smelly old pumas. So we could carerless how you dress (actually tend to smirk on the people there to look pretty and not just wanting to get down to the smooth vibe and beats!)

Here's our place ion chitown: (UR mag's #1 superclub in the USA)

you do know what fatboy's name(norman cook) was before he was fatboy slim right

and instead of posting again im just gonna quote myself from another older thread.

Its funny to see everyone run on about techno. There are SOO many different styles of dance/techno. Asking whats a good techno artist is like saying whos a good rock band. You have House, techhouse, progressive, trance, tribal, breaks,Drub&bass, techno, downtempo,Big beat. Th list goes on and on. There are even a few house dj's on the board. Including myself. If you like the electronica side of it You cant go wrong with Chem. brothers(as mentioned earler), Chrystal method, Underworld, Fatboyslim(aka mighty dubkatz )
If you like the house side of it. A few of my personal favorites are Deep dish, Danny Tenaglia, carl cox, Danny howells, John digweed, Sasha, Hernan cattaneo, Jameas lavelle, Anthony pappa, darren Emerson, james holden, james zabiela, steve lawler, luke fair, Behrouz, Lee burridge, Sander kleinenberg. My favorite cd im lisiting to right now is Desyn masiello Presents Bedrock original series. Its on of the best comps of the year. If someone wants to hear any of these dj's stuff or anything related to dance music. Just Dl soulseek. Its like a Kazza for dance music, But much much better. another good cd that you can find at any local record store. Is global unerground compelations. I encourage everyone to listen to dance music, It gives alot of people a high that cant be explained. House in paticular has an effect on people. You just zone out. Its like a drug. Minus the bad side effects
Dont hesitate to pm or email me any questions or comments. Im far from a know it all when it comes to dance music. But i have been listining to it for close to ten years now.
