Now that my exhaust mod was a success, I want to modify the intake system. I live on Long Island and it gets warm here so heat soak might be a problem. Furthermore, what will happen to the intake teperature sensor that is currently in my stock air box?

KKM?
SHO Shop?
How about BAT system?

Any suggestions ?

Thanks!

I would say to use any Open Air filter, you'll notice a good improvement. Im sure this is the part where everyone yells out "KKM". Whatever...
Buy the braket from Mirko that fits a filter on the stock Mass Air Sensor.
I currently have a Cold Air Intake setup, which again everyone yells out "Heatsoak". But what do I know.

The IAT sensor is relocated to plug into the accordian tube with some of the kits out there. (Between the MAF & TB is really a better location.) There are some great gains to be made from opening the intake, and the bigger the better! Go for the BIGGEST opening you can fit on the air filter and MAF adaptor. The S&B "Big Mouth" cones will flow well. You may want to customize/optimize a standard MAF adaptor to get the most air into the engine. The accordian tube is worth replacing with a smooth pipe. (Many posts on new products out there...)
