I thought I'd broke something the first and only time I got there(I-5 nothbound LA, about two months ago). Once I relized what had happened I was upset because I wanted to see what my car was working with.
My car is wierd but I love her. I don't think I go over 6700rpm unless I downshift to third over 70mph(did it a few time to avoid accidents, when braking wasn't an option).
"Burn rubber, not you soul"
Why don't you have a speedo? You mean tach, methinks?
And wtf wasn't braking an option? Because you didn't want a cop to see brakelights?
Yeah, my bad I meant tach. What I was saying is that in some situations when driving the people around you might not see what you see, so slowing down isn't always the best thing to do. So I have downshifted from 5th to 3rd, and got my rpms up, but it isn't something I like to do.
I hope that was everyone.

the sct chip allows it but what about your engine? what about valve float and the pressure plate on your clutch? Are you really still making power at 7600rpm or just losing it?
I just don't really see a reason for a 7600K rpm rev on a nearly stock car.

yeah, I drive kinda hard, so in most cases I will pull first through 24mph before I shift to second, than depending on what I'm doing I will run second through 42, and 3rd through 70.
I'll slow down 4th and 5th because usually I'm over the speed limit by then.
