Yes, you should notice a nice gain in power.
I would also expect some rasp, but I can only speak from experience w/ a ypipe (with a cat) and a stock SVT exhaust w/o a resonator. That setup was droney and raspy.
Also I was thinking about buying
a cat-less y-pipe just for the track, would a catless gain a lot of power or would I lose power
because of less back pressure.
I'd bet you would get a few extra hp.
And one last idea would a catless y-pipe sound good on a Bassani if I put in a good resonator ? Please give me some input for any of you guys that have tried these things before. Thanks a lot.
Haven't tried it, but it would probably sound good.
A lack of a main cat definately makes our cars
loud.
