"5 Available" means that we're offering 5 kits at a special price.

Call me foolish but the picture seems to portray 4 discs and 4 calipers, are brakes for all four corners included? That seems way to good of a deal.

The image, as stated below the image, is a representation and may not be the actual product.

In this case it is not the actual product. As stated in the first/original post, this is for the FRONT KIT ONLY. Baer only makes a front kit for the Contour and Cougar.

$696.99 + Shipping for:

Front discs, pads, calipers, brackets and misc items needed to install the kit.

not really actually, that's damn cheap, considering BB kits for other cars range from $700-$5000. . . .

Planet Zeldon?

Seriously, for you to go buy OEM brake rotors and pads, you're looking at almost $200.00 for the fronts.. Then take into consideration that you're getting a full kit, that includes the large rotors, 2 piston calipers w/ pads, and hardware.. Upgrades cost money, and $695.00 for a FULL front BB kit is NOT a lot of money..

I agree. If I am filling my front wheels up with the Baers, I don't want my rear brakes feeling left out .

For what you get its expensive, for that price I'd expect a rear disc brake kit included.

there is no "rear disc brake kit" because that would be a royal waste of money, since 90% of our braking is handled by our front brakes. . .ergo, the rears can either (a) remain stock and look puny, (b) get matching baer rotors that are still puny but at least look the same as the fronts, or (c) get Todd's wilwood rear brake kit conversion that simply repositions the rear caliper and adds a large rotor. . . .
