Can you give us more details ... changes to the way you have to drive, change to throttle response, change when letting off throttle, etc.??[/b]
The gain is from reducing rotating inertia (the flywheel) and allowing the power to be used to rotoate the wheels instead. It's simple physics. Work is required to moved something a certain distance over time. there fore when the mass of the object is reduced, less work is required to move it the same distance in the same time. Hence is the work (power) is not changed, i.e. y6our engine makes the same power after the addition of a lightened flywheel, then the time taken to move it (roate) is less, hence the quicker acceleration.

True the revs drop quicker, because the reduced moment of inertia, but hwo cares how fast they drop. If you shift high enough and quick enough, you can keep the engine revs in the power band, which on a duratec is pretty large.

Throttle response is obviously quicker, and it makes the car twitchier on the gas. Which means you have to learn to drive SMOOTHER.

Lightened flywheels release hp, not create it....remember that.
