I don't think it has anything to do with being liberal you just seem to like to throw that out because you think it makes your argument sound legitimate(it really doesn't). $20 an hour is around 40 thou a year. You won't be hobnobbing with the upper crust when you make that kind of money. If you can afford to live on $8 to $10 bucks an hour good for you that's great but most people can't.
