The good: Ordered the system on Monday. Josh contacted me, inquired about tip selection (SS angle cut). Arrived on Thursday. Laid out system in living room (great being single!). Everything went together nicely, and looked great. Got under car...sprayed break-free on cat flange bolts...got impatient...rounded nut (keep reading and you'll see why this was good). Early next morning went to local muffler guy...$50 to put on system. 1 hour later...insert key...hold breath...vroom. At idle...quiet. Partial throttle...very deep and even. No rasp...rice...or Honda-ness at all! Full throttle...sounds like GTS Brahbam!!! System sounds fricken great!!! Definatley louder than stock, but no drone. I haven't listened to my radio in 3 days!!
The not-so-good: Packaging wasn't too great. Mainly newspaper. Had a stutter scratch in one tip that didn't show when installed, but still, could be better. Wasn't quite bolt on. The exhaust guy removed 2" off the first pipe coming out the muffler to line up hanger, and then 1 1/2" off each side of the Y to line up tips. If I had been in my drive-way...I'd have been mighty frustrated. Even getting the stock system off the hangers in the driveway would have brought major tears!!
Overall: Great system for the money ($310+$30 shipping + $60 install =$400...minus $100 for stock SVT system sale=$300 out of pocket). Most local exhaust shops were quoting $250 plus cost of mufflers for custom system. And that left them building the Y at the single/dual split...scary!! Sounds fricken awesome!!! Very deep...no pops when letting off the throttle. just growlllll!! Sounds like nothing I've heard so far...cept maybe a GT Mustang. Its that deep. At 6500 rpm...woo-hooo!!! I've not heard the Bassani or Borla or Brullen...except the sound bites, but since I paid half...I'm damned stoked!!

josh YD Performance Now here is a guy that comes on our site and asks everyone if they would be interested in him making an exhaust? So theres interest and he goes out and makes them, He then checks on the website that he's been selling to to make sure if everything is ok and finds out that the exhaust is a little long and needs to be corrected and also about the packaging how its not the greatest so he thanks the customer and takes it like a business man and is going to correct it so everyone else will be happy. He doesn't complain about how a customer speaks about his product he THANKS him and will try to correct it Thank you Josh

Thats excellent to hear about the YoDude system. I contacted YoDude (might have been Josh) via email and got a very nice PROFESSIONAL response. This tops it off. When the time comes for the catback on my SVT 'Tour, YoDude has another sale Guaranteed! Great job guys!

I just recieved my Yodude cat-free stainless y-pipe today! I'm eager to get it installed. I plan on doing the mystery mod at the same time so I'm anticipating a wee bit of rasp. Especially where the Y butts up to my stock SE exhaust... I think I may have to change that soon.
mcgainer what muffler did you go with? Single or dual? Do you have an SVT?

Josh's customer service is outstanding. He's a real stand-up guy that won't BS you, and will take the time to answer your questions fully. I've ordered 2 exhausts from him and 1 y-pipe and would gladly do business with him again.

I think I am one of the first ones on CEG to put one on :p . Well, as soon as my friggin camera stops being a *****, i'll be posting it up. Also, Mcgainer went with the Magnaflow muffler, same as I. Quasi-dual. As for the sound, the closest that could describe it on the yodude website would be the soundclip of the; catback exhaust with flowmaster without cat and with y-pipe 2000 cougar.
Give me more beer and CEG before i get depressed!
