They range from the K&N drop in air filter to the intake that replaces the OEM accordian tube with an open air filter at the end. Benefits are most aftermarket air filters (K&N and KKM) are reuseable (just wash and reoil) and since they are made of cotton (not paper) they have better flow. Most of the air filters and intakes are fairly easy to install.
