It happens more than you think. I took my Honda Civic (2001) to the Quick Change lane at the dealership near my house. I sat, and sat and sat and sat. I waved one of the guys over to my car, and he said, "Can I help you?" "Sure, I'd like an oil change." He took a second look at the car and said, "I thought this was a Lexus." I explained, no, it's a Honda CIVIC with a modified grille and headlights. Nothing more.
I couldn't believe it. Then a guy at a body shop thought I was driving a VW Jetta, AND a guy at Discount Tire had no clue what kind of car it was. What is wrong with these people? IT'S A FREAKIN CIVIC.....
