Three words that never seem to go together in my neck of the woods. Sorry. I do all my own work. Brakes, misc suspension components, you should consider doing yourself with the help of your friendly CEGers.

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

Would love to do work myself, but I live in an apartment comples and I am prohibited from performing any automotive repair in my parking lot....BS, I know, but I don't have any choice right now, otherwise I'd love to save myself the time, money, and potential incompetence.

don's garage in ocala is pretty decent. we take all our stuff to him. also, walt's brakes (again, in ocala) is a great brake shop. both may be slightly more expensive, but do good work. thats if you're up for the 30-40 min. drive.

i do know from first hand experience that dons will not use parts you bring in. walts probably doesnt either.

What? That's weird. Every shop I've been to (well only like 2 or 3, but shopping around none had a problem when I said I got the parts already) has no problem with bringing parts in.

I had good luck with Signature Lincoln Mercury. It is clearly a cut above any Ford dealer (dealing with a different customer), and their shop rate is right about the same as a Ford's-

i dont know why. they have probably had too many dumb a$$es come in with parts that dont fit, and get all mad when they dont use them insisting that they do fit. its ocala we are talking about here.

on the upside im pretty sure they use napa parts.

the reason i found out was i went there with my metal impellar water pump to get a quote and thats when they told me. god i was such a noob then. glad i did that one myself!

Not true at all. You've obviously not spent time in the pan-handle.

I've been to PC. In any case, Florida can't stack up to country hicks in georgia. Florida is mainly southern yankees.
