Don't bet on it!
Vette and team tried true winners , who knows about the Astons .....the Ferrari (Prodrive car) is a winner and fast!
The Maserati is way new and unproven.
It'll be fun to watch!
Oh, I forgot the Saleen, could win.......NAH!

likewise....wish i could be there, but the upcoming nuptials are just too close time-wise for me to squeeze it in this year. not to mention the honeymoon has me tapped out $$-wise; no room in the budget for a trip of that nature right now....but i do look forward to watching some of the action.

Psst, the Maser has won several races, the new Vette is making it's first start.

As to the MC12, I stand corrected. 2 wins,3 seconds and 1 third.....not keeping up with the FIA GT.
As for the Vette, though a new car-still tried and true team and constructor (they are thorough as well)......

Ive been trying to get this thing working for me - but plane tickets never fell below $400 for some absurd reason. I dont know why but the trip from SLC to MCO is only $99 but from MCO to SLC returning is $299. I had it all planned out dangit.
I guess ill be watching too - OH DAMMIT i dont have speed either. (where is a shoot me in the head smilie when you need one)

one of these
Maserati Corse Maserati MC12 Andrea Bertolini / Italy Fabio Babini / Italy
Three of these
Compuware Corvette Racing Corvette C6-R Ron Fellows / Mississauga, Ontario Johnny O'Connell / Flowery Branch, GA Max Papis / Miami, FL
Compuware Corvette Racing Corvette C6-R 4 Oliver Gavin / Northhampton, UK Olivier Beretta / Monaco Jan Magnussen / Denmark
Menard's/Yokohama Pacific Coast Motorsports Corvette C5-R 5 Alex Figgie / Hollywood, CA Ryan Dalziel / Glasgow, Scotland Dave Empringham / Toronto, Ontario
I say the odds go with the vet unless a common problem ails the teams
