well that certainly wasn't the point of my post. any time i need to feel better about myself, i just shag steeda's mother. 
actually, i stated that because that has been my overwhelming experience with young people in car audio. cosmetics are more important to many than performance capabilities. and since your main gripe was regarding the looks of the unit, that's what i had to go by.
