Just a general comment. My CSVT is great, I have no complaints besides this one: Why didn't seat warmer's come standard on a car with so many great features, especially considering they are leather? Is this an add-on option or can it be done after market?

Never available.. cept' on the "fancy" Mondeo. Haven't doen the install yet, but I ordered a "universal" heated seat system.. can't remeber from where. Do a google search, type in "universal heated seats". It will be like the first site that comes up. It cost me about 360.00 for both seats. You have to be able to pull the leather off the seats, which I hear isn't all too diffuclt. Comes with all wiring, seat mounted swith with high, low, and off settings, and the heating element for the seat back and bottom. Seems pretty easy because you can wire it off the drivers side and passenger wiring harness for the power seats. I'll be doing this mod this spring.. with tons of pics and a how to.

Heated would be nice yes. But i play a lot of basketball and golf in the summer, and there is nothing worse than getting in a car with leather seats that have been baking in the sun all day long. All i can say about the heated seats is, its much cheaper to get some seat covers for winter time.

Seat warmers during the time this side of terra firma is getting warmer. What a novel idea.

I'm just pokin' ya, I wish my old ride had heated seats. I'm a pansy when it comes to cold weather. Hell, I'll save everyone the trouble of quoting half that sentence and say I'm a pansy period.

Welcome to the boards! I guess cuz they were leather was enough for Ford...IMO, summer keeps those babies warm enough. But I just turn the heat on, and aim the vents towards the seats in the Winter...it works.

As far as your svt, do you have any mods done to it yet?

Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.
