Hence the wink at the end of my post. I whole heartedly agree with you: that setup would be way more time and money.

I want to run a 50 shot maybe someday I will up it to a 75 shot. I am wondering if this will put me in the mid to high 14's on raidials(drag). Any info from someone who has had experiance with this setup or something similar would be great
Drag radials are a definate no-no. They will put waaaay too much stress on the transmission, almost a guarantee rebuild after your run.

hey man, i may want to take a ride in your car if its ok! I'm in North Dartmouth, MA. I have been thinking of NOS for a while now but just wasn't sure if it was worth it.

maybe we can hook up someday if that's cool.

you should head over to the NE-CEG section a little more often....

later.

Response to S\V/T 'Kris':

Detonation is the first major problem with NOs, but not the only.
Putting a stock 4 cylinder on a 150HP shot of NOS is going to melt things even without detenation.
I was just saying for running high HP shots it is a good idea.
Running 10 or so times on NOS at the track (after driving to the track) will cause high engine temps.
My recommendations for cooling were justified and will help the life of the engine (even with normal driving).
And the stock oil cooler sucks, my new one keeps the oil about 20 degrees cooler.

Does anyone have a plug recomendation for me... what exact plug should I get? Brand/Part#(if possible)?
Not really. The NOS kit I was looking at (direct port for 4 banger) was only about $700. wink This is price NOS gave me. cool
