I am not aruging with the parents buying their kids a car, I am just against them buying them NICE cars. A kid in highschool doesn't need a nice car, just one that is going to get them from point a to b. The reason why my dad bought me a car was because I got a job when I was 16, we lived 15 miles in the sticks and I needed a way to get into town to work and school. He would have laughed his @ss off if I told him I wanted an SVT.

17 (18 on the 26) and senior at Falls High. the school is terrible but we still manage to have fun. A thought occured to me a couple days ago--for those that are in track, how many other high schools have to shovel snow away from the gate to get it open so the snowplow can plow the 2-3 feet of snow off the track so we can start pratice??? Man I am getting sick of winter. Not to jack the thread but how many track and field and what event (or baseball, whatever you do) out there? Me- 110HH and 300IM hurtles. Oh, and isn't it nice to have some of the nicest cars in the parking lot (not to mention the fastest)?

My first car was the tour. A 98 SVT with 67K on the clock. Really not that big of a deal.....only cost $6200.
