When my dad still had his 99 SHO Taurus he got this kit, with clay bars and a bunch of other stuff with it, its a 3 separate proccess, and it makes the paint look really good, I can't remember the name of it, I think he got it from a guy from the V8sho.com site, but it works great one day he waxed a side of the hood on the SHO and it looked like glass and you could tell the difference between each side. You could also take your hand and feel the difference. I'm gonna use it on my car one of these days, maybe after I get a few panels painted.
It's also expensive stuff too, and works great, if I find out the name of it I'll post it.

Hands down, the best and most knowledgable resource for detailing on the net is Autopia.org

I'm just passing it on, as I like to refer to the "experts" for any advice(alot of the members are full time, pro detailers).

WARNING: This site may cause you to catch the detailing bug, I certainly did, yet see nothing wrong this condiditon!

Is that a swirl in my paint!!?

I plan on going crazy with wax this spring too. Just to give it a quick temporary shine in the winter I use Eagle One Wax As-U-Dry. Looks great if your pressed for time.

But I wanna go all out with the detailing this spring. No more quick jobs.
