A front mount won't work on an SVT as the radiator is too wide to allow for the supply and return pipes to get to it. It simply takes up the entire front opening of the car. The size of the core is not the issue; it's getting th air to anf from the FMIC that is the problem.
The only way around it is to remove the A/C all together and run the pipes through the space on the drivers side where the A/C condenser would have been. This also means that you either: a) need to use a crossover pipe to bring the discharge from the intercooler to the driver's side. or b) use a U shaped FMIC desin so that both the inlet and oulet tanks are on the same side (driver) of it.
