coulda sworn there are real saleen explorers out there though (although I'm skeptical that this one in particular is a real one).

Some dim bulb suburban "keep up with the neighbors" type probably thinks this is the S77t.
Next there will be SVT Saleen Festivas for sale.
2000 SE fleet, V6, ATX, ABS, no spoiler, T-Green/tan. Built 01/2000 in MO. Added 12 spoke factory SE rims, K&N. Biggest mod: ESP Plan!

But just 'cause it says "Saleen" on it, doesn't make it a Saleen. ...and it certainly isn't a SVT product.

I know for a fact Saleen has produced exploders. A buddy of mine's parents have one, pretty sweet for an explorer. Saleen emblems stitched in the leather and other miscellaneous interior stuff convinced me. Along with the wheels, body kit, exhaust and whatever other engine mods are on them.

Saleen did make an Explorer. It was called the EX8, I believe. You could get it with just the 5.0 or a S/C 5.0. The last one was in '01. Fairly disappointing performance for a S/C; 0-60 in 8.8 sec. Also, the front bumper was body colored, not chrome.

If it is supposedly fake, then why does it have a 5.0 liter? I thought that the explorers came with a 4.0 liter. rimmie
