.....'final drive gears'....crown wheel & pinion, not 1st,2nd etc ....... Ahhhhhh...... So to get a full complete set of high strength "Capaldi" spec gears will still cost upwards of $5000? That doesnt make sense to me. I can see if these things were hand ground using a dremel and took 100 hours of labor to make. but if a CNC machine makes them, you punch in the program and walk away. Again, if i am WAYYYYY off here, let me know. Anyways.....So what will solve the gear shredding problem for those people who want/plan/have 300-400hp Duratecs? granted no one has run into that problem, and maybe they never will. But isnt is something we have to be concerned with? I have seen the teath on the mtx-75 gears, and they are puny...... Nikolas
