I do not trust any of the claims made by anyone selling car stuff"!! No offense..

I have seen no less than 3 dynos with K&N making 5 HP or more on Contours (not counting my own which also compared a MAF upgrade but did show a slight advanytake over K&N). One was a side by side comparison with monster flow, which was at one time making the big claims over K&N. It is an oiled foam style and is the ONLY filter I've seen of this type comparison dynoed.

So, K&N is proven in our cars superior to monster flow and KKM. I will need to see a side by side dyno with an amsoil, AFE or whatever filter from an INDEPENDENT party to convince me to change. anybody interested?
