Does anyone know if the Baer 13" front brake kit will fit in the Focus 17" 5-spoke wheel for the CSVT? With out having to put spacers in?

May only be of little help but the FSVT wheel is not very brake friendly. This I know as I cannot fit even an NDL caliper on a .81 rotor kit.

Granted the PBR is narrower in design slightly as it's a floater, but it's on a 1.10 rotor as well. And neither kit can place the rotor far side inboard very far. Matter of fact I'll wager the Baear and my .81 are about the same total height at about 1.6"

I'd keep shopping of big brakes are on your hit list.

I tried it and the answer is definitely NO! You will need at least a 1/4" spacer (maybe more) to make the Baer brakes fit. I just ditched the SVT Focus wheels and ordered some new ones (that arent here yet!).

yeah
the baers DO work with
17" Enkei RS5's
17" Rota Attacks

Probably work with any other 5 spoke wheel that ISN'T a FSVT wheel. . .odd, but you can get a spacer. . .

Actually that's a big help, thanks! I'll start looking at some other wheels instead.

Yea thats great. I bought these wheels back when the focus first came out. And is'nt true that spacers are bad for your suspension?

Does anyone know if the 12" baer brake kit, or the willwood 12.2 fit, or am i srcewed?

Hey bonehead..., have you even been to their site? They say..."can be used with some 16" and most 17" or larger wheels".

Well I run 12 mm (H&R) spacers on my big(330 mm)brakes because of two different style wheels that I like very much.. I have added camber adjustment blocks, but I have not noticed any problem with the suspension that could be attributed to a wider track.. One upper strut bearing froze but I can't seee that this offset had anything to do with offset.
